I’m posting this everywhere because it’s hilarious and totally made my day. GO HOKIES!

Beginning next week at our Alphin-Stuart Livestock Teaching arena (pictured), we will host the final session of the Virginia Tech Riding Series. These horseback riding classes, presented by the Office of Continuing and Professional Education, strengthen the riding and jumping skills…
The Virginia Tech Equine Center in Leesburg is a stones throw from my parents’ house. In high school, part of our cross country course ran parallel to the one of the fields where the healthy horses graze.
Go Hokies!
Depending on your point of view, this is either really awesome or really stupid. I think it’s AWESOME.
This song melts my heart.
Hello weekend.
How freakin’ cute are these polar bears?
I doubt I will continue to watch after this season. Such a shame too because Glee is an amazing show.
In preparation for tonight’s concert. Maybe a little Taylor Swift too, just for fun.
If you have not discovered the amazingness of Lupe Fiasco’s “Lasers” you are sorely missing out.
Also, the doctor’s office called to let me know they were calling in a prescription for Xanax. I feel better about Monday’s shots already :)
I really want to be excited about our upcoming trip to Belize, and I am, it’s just that having to get shots before we go is making me a nervous wreck. The last time I got a shot was right before I left for college, the good ol’ meningitis vaccine. Back then, most physician offices and urgent care facilities didn’t offer the vaccine so the only place you could go was the health department. Since the health department didn’t take appointments, I waited for about three hours until they finally called my name. I was so nervous but the nurse was really good, didn’t let me see the needle and was done really fast. I barely felt anything but within a few seconds I started feeling really light-headed. The nurse had me put my head between my legs and the next thing I knew I was waking up on the examination table.
For our trip I need a tetanus booster, Hepatitis A, Typhoid and Malaria vaccines. Typhoid and Malaria come in pill form which is a HUGE relief but Hepatitis A and the tetanus booster does not. I’ve been playing phone tag with my doctor but the nurse said he could prescribe some anti-anxiety medicine before my appointment. It’s a good thing too, because I found out today my doctor doesn’t carry Hep A so I’ll have to go in for the tetanus shot and then take a prescription to Walgreens and have them do it there. Somehow I don’t think the pharmacists at Walgreens will be as accommodating or understanding as my doctor, ugh.
I really hope I get some good drugs.
BELIZE!! However there is another surprise I’m not at all excited about and it’s the vaccines I have to get - Hep A, Typhoid and Tetanus. If you know me then you know I’m a HUGE baby about shots and I usually pass out. When Brad told me about the shots I cried. I’m hoping my doc will prescribe some Xanex pre-shots so I won’t be so worked up.
Once I get the shots I’ll really be excited! Have any of you been to Belize? Is there anywhere we definitely need to check out?!
How cool is this?
